With an illustrious career spanning over 27 years, Mr. Abhijit Bejalwar stands as a distinguished authority in subsurface geological exploration, hydrogeological investigation, and sustainable groundwater resource management. Mr. Bejalwar’s professional foundation was established through 15+ years of international experience in subsurface geological and petroleum reservoir studies across Australia, Singapore, Dubai, Qatar, and Yemen, where he specialized in interpreting complex lithological structures, stratigraphic modeling, and fluid flow dynamics within deep geological formations.

Over the last 12 years, his work has focused on India’s groundwater sector, leading aquifer mapping, hydrogeological assessments, and GIS–geophysical investigations to promote sustainable groundwater development across diverse terrains. His expertise covers the full spectrum of groundwater exploration, including scientific borewell siting, aquifer performance testing, rainwater harvesting design, groundwater budgeting, watershed management, and mine hydrogeology. He utilizes advanced analytical tools such as IP2Win, MapInfo, and Aquameter CRM AUTO C-ANVIC for electrical resistivity and hydrogeophysical interpretation.

Before founding Aqua Era, Mr. Bejalwar led several community-based groundwater initiatives across Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region, collaborating with over 200 farmers to implement aquifer recharge solutions and precision borewell siting that significantly improved agricultural water security and crop productivity. These transformative experiences laid the foundation for Aqua Era’s mission: delivering data-driven, scientifically robust groundwater solutions.

Under his leadership, Aqua Era has become a trusted consulting partner for both public and private sector projects, contributing to national programs like the Atal Bhujal Yojana and Jal Jeevan Mission, as well as major industrial and infrastructure developments including Dhariwal Power Plant (Chandrapur), MEIL (Khadakwasla–Fursungi Tunnel), Adani Wilmar (Khargone), and Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd. Mr. Bejalwar specializes in integrated hydrogeophysical characterization and aquifer system analysis, with core competencies in vertical electrical sounding (VES), resistivity profiling, lithostratigraphic correlation, well hydrograph interpretation, and aquifer yield optimization. His domain expertise extends to hydrostratigraphic modeling, groundwater recharge quantification, piezometric monitoring, and GIS-integrated spatial analysis for sustainable groundwater resource planning.

He is proficient in 2D and 3D subsurface interpretation, geo-electrical data inversion, and parameter calibration using IP2Win, Aquameter CRM AUTO C-ANVIC, and MapInfo platforms. His applied research interests include aquifer system diagnostics, recharge–discharge balance assessment, mine dewatering studies, and rainwater harvesting design optimization through geo-hydrological simulation models.
